There are additional conditions that qualify a patient for medical marijuana certification under the evaluating physician's discretion.

Health insurance does not cover the cost of obtaining  medical marijuana certification. Florida law requires medical marijuana card holders to obtain a new prescription every 7 months. (210 days).
